GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX

A new type of SSL certificate that supports FLEXIBLE domain configuration and can be ordered as a single-domain or multi-domain SSL certificate with any combination of fully qualified domain name (FQDN) and WildCard variants up to a total of 250 domains. This provides great flexibility in ordering the required certificates and adding additional domains (SANs) during the lifetime of the certificate.
GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX is also suitable for securing Microsoft products such as MS Exchange Server Security.

SSL certificate GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX can secure up to 250 different domains, is fully trusted by all modern browsers including mobile browsers and thanks to domain verification, the certificate is issued very quickly. The FLEX certificate makes it possible to protect individual standard domains, subdomains and also star domains at the same time. The basic price includes one domain, other domains, including WildCard variants, are set in the order. Domains can be added and changed during the lifetime of an SSL certificate, giving amazing flexibility in managing SSL certificates.

Subscription - The final multi-year price is given in parentheses. According to the latest security requirements, multi-year SSL certificates are only issued for 1 year (maximum 398 days). What you should know before you place an order.

Domain Validated SSL certificate

All you need to do is provide proof of ownership/administration over the registered domain

The applicant for the SSL certificate is verified by sending an e-mail message to the selected e-mail. According to the rules there are fixed addresses to choose from admin@, administrator@, webmaster@, hostmaster@ or postmaster@. We recommend creating one of the addresses, or having it set as an alias, ev. use the domain basket and retrieve the confirmation e-mail from it.

Instead of e-mail confirmation, you can use alternative validation - inserting a TXT record into the DNS zone of the domain. For standard domains, it is also possible to perform validation by inserting a text file into the data space on the server (FTP). We support both alternative verification methods and can be set in the order details.

Note i: It is not possible to send a validation email to a personal address e.g. yourname@gmail.com.

How long it takes to get the GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX certificate

Place your order and pay. After inserting the CSR (Certificate Signing Request), we will immediately order the certificate from the authority. To issue a new certificate, you only need to confirm the validation.

Domains Secured

From one domain to 250 different domains, subdomains and star variants

One GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX SSL certificate secures up to 250 different domains. This certificate is flexible to secure multiple hostnames, domains, subdomains, and wildcard domains in a single configuration. During the validity period, you can add, change or remove domains upon request.
Each domain can be from a different TLD (.com, .net, .eu, etc.), any domain level (abc.domain.com, 123.xyz.domain.net) and it is possible to insert star domains (.domain.com, .domain.net etc.) and any levels (.abc.domain.com, .123.xyz.domain.com).

When ordering only one 2nd order domain, for example domain.com, the certification authority adds to the SSL certificate GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX automatically the security of the 3rd order domain variant with www, i.e. www.domain.com. When ordering multiple domains, it is always necessary to list all required domains in the order, i.e. variants with/without www and each such variant is charged separately.

Renewing your certificate

You need to renew GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX certificate before it expires

You can start renewing an expiring SSL certificate 30 days before it expires. It is recommended not to leave the renewal to the last minute, unused validity of the certificate will be added to the renewed one.
You can renew your GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium FLEX certificate with us without any problem even if you originally ordered it from another supplier. We always have better prices than the certification authority!

REISSUE certificate

Unlimited free reissues for orders at our store

During the validity of the certificate, you can re-generate the certificate at any time free of charge. This is called REISSUE and is useful in case you do not have a private key for migration to another server or the keys have been deleted and there is no backup. Reissue is possible with a new request that contains the same data as the initial order.

REISSUE of the certificate is performed even in case of addition/change of domain names in the certificate.

Note i: Best practices are to generate a new certificate signing request (CSR) when reissuing your SSL/TLS certificate. Generating a new CSR creates a new, unique key pair (public/private) for the reissued certificate.
Note ii: It is not possible to reissue SSL while it is processing or another reissue request pending.

Multi-Year Certificates

In order to provide you the lowest cost per year, we offer 2-5 year certificate packages

As of 1 September 2020, Apple, Google and Mozilla browsers and devices do not accept new SSL/TLS certificates that have a lifetime of more than 398 days. To comply with the latest security requirements, multi-year SSL certificates are issued for 1 year (max. 398 days). You'll need to re-issue the certificate once per year. We'll send you email notifications starting 30 days before expiration. Of course, REISSUE is free of charge. Plus you can reissue your certificate at any time and as many times as you like!

Google, the creator of the Chrome browser, plans to further shorten the validity period for security reasons and to ensure as much automation as possible when deploying SSL certificates. It is assumed that by 2025 at the latest, certificates will only be issued with a 3-month validity. Certification authorities are preparing for these changes. We recommend ordering multi-year certificates now with max. valid for 2 years.

After the certificate is issued, you cannot shorten the period of validity, request a refund of the unused period or reduce the number of ordered domains and their variants. If you decide to get an SSL certificate for several years at a better price, we recommend that you make sure that you use it for the whole time.
